Wilson Times "Whirligig Festival" Special Edition

The Wilson Times publishes a special edition each year. Be on the look out this year for the #WideAwakeWilson edition on the Thursday before the festival - November 1. The Special edition includes a complete schedule of festival events, listing times and locations, a description of all musical entertainment, as well as an easy-to-read MAP with information about vendors, parking, restrooms and stage locations will be inside the section.

Parking Tips:

  • Handicapped Parking in Farris & Farris lot off Tarboro Street

  • BB&T employee lots on Broad ST

  • Center Brick lot off of Tarboro ST

  • Side streets of Barnes St. & Green St.

  • Follow all parking regulations including handicapped and fire hydrants


To ensure the festival maintains a safe and free of violence atmosphere for all attendees, the festival prefers that you do not possess or use dangerous weapons within the festival area.

All children must be accompanied by adults.

Pets are recommended to be left home, however if attending, the pet must be on a leash according to City codes. And any animal causing a safety concern will be asked to leave immediately.

The festival is public domain for photography and video by the festival organizers. By attending you give permission to be included in publicity photography.
